Hot Lunch – Chicken nuggets, tater tots, fruit, veggie and dessert – $5

Hot lunch is served every Wednesday for grades K-8. While the hot lunch coordinator, Jamie Collyard, serves most lunches throughout the year, she always welcomes parent volunteers to either help with the lunch or sign up to prepare and serve a hot lunch themselves. If you are interested one way or the other, please contact Jamie at jcollyard@gmail.com.

On Wednesday, May 1, an email from our tuition management company, TADS, should have arrived in your email inbox for the 2024-2025 school year. Zion offers three payment options through TADS. If you would like to pay in full sometime in the month of May, you will receive a 10% discount. You can also choose two equal payments, the first is due in August (first half of the tuition amount) and second payment would be due in January (second half of the balance due). The third option is to make payments; first payment is due in August and the last payment is due in May.

Several families have applied for financial aid. Most of those awards should be known by the month of June. If you are participating in the UPK (Universal Preschool Program), you should receive a notification sometime in early Summer. When the award letters and or notification from the UPK program reaches Zion LS, your TADS account will be credited by the amount of the award as soon as possible. If you have any questions or need help navigating the TADS system, please reach out to Anne Saggau in the school office at zionsec@zion-wels.org or by phone at 303.985.2334.

The last day to check out books from the school library is May 13. All checked out books are due back to the library no later than Friday, May 17. If you have any questions, please contact our school librarian, Mrs. Kathy Reeser, at 2050kar@gmail.com

Save the date! Zion LC Vacation Bible School will be the week of June 10-13! Look for more details in next week’s memo.
