Zion LS is blessed to have a Hot Lunch program to offer to our students every Wednesday! As many of you have noticed, food prices have risen dramatically over the last several months. Unfortunately, the hot lunch volunteers have been subsidizing the program with their own money as we aren’t collecting enough money to cover the cost of the program. Because we don’t want to cause unnecessary hardship on our volunteers, we have decided to raise the cost of hot lunch by $1. Beginning next week, hot lunch will cost $4 per student.

Your Panthers A-team basketball games next Monday, February 13 are at The Courts vs Lord of Life.  We have an opportunity to play a girls game and a boys game against the Mustangs.  Girls play at 4:00 and Boys at 5:00pm.  Our teams will leave school at 3:00pm.    GO PANTHERS!

Zion LS wanted to let you know about the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to help with the cost of your child/children’s tuition through ACE Scholarships. If you haven’t heard of ACE, they are a K-12 scholarship program dedicated to providing scholarships that are purely needs-based for families who meet the income qualifications.

The 2023- 2024 ACE Scholarships application will be open February 6th through Tax Day, April 18th, 2023.

If you would like to complete the application, it is done on a website called FACTS. You will need to complete the application itself, attach forms of taxable and nontaxable income verification, and submit a $35 processing fee to FACTS anytime between February 6th and April 18th.

Scholarship award decisions are made per student (not per family) and will be made after the application closes for all. Families will be notified of awards in May/June.

If you have any questions for ACE directly, you are able to reach them at 856.746.6521 or
